PATTERN DESCRIPTION

With all the great sock yarns available, why restrict yourself by wearing your creations on your feet? Not socks is a versatile fingerless gloves pattern which
allows you to show off your knitting even when you've got your shoes on!
You can make them in a self striping yarn like I did, or a solid colour for a more subdued look. I'm sure you'll find something in your stash that will work for you!
The pattern is quite uncomplicated, and can be knitted up in the same time it would take you to make a pair of socks... only there will be no heels to turn nor any toes
to graft!

The gloves are knitted in the round, using double pointed needles. Pattern includes step by step instructions and full colour photographs.

SIZE

To fit hand sizes Small (18cm/7”), Medium (19cm/7½”), and Large (20cm/8”)

MATERIALS

Yarn
234m-298m/256yds-326yds of Sock Yarn.
Gloves shown in Zwerger Garn Opal Acapulco (425m/465yds, 100g/3.5oz) in 1306 colour way.

Needles
One set of 4 double pointed needles size 2.5mm  (US 1½ )
OR needle size necessary to obtain gauge

Notions
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle to weave in ends

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Gauge/Tension
32sts and 42 rows = 10cm square over stocking stitch using 2.5mm (US 1½ ) needles
