2 ply Medium Laceweight
100% Pure Mongolian Cashmere
650m/710yds, 50g/1.8oz

I added Pure Cashmere lace yarns to the Chopped Tomatoes Etsy Shop this morning; it is a finer gauge than my 85% Wool / 15% Cashmere yarn, with a whopping 650m/710yds per 50g/1.8oz, more than enough for a small shawl or scarf. For a lace project, I would suggest a needle size between 3.5mm/US 4 - 4mm/US 6. Held double, the yarn weight equals a 4ply sock weight and can be knitted up on 2.25mm/US 1 - 2.75mm/US 2 size needles.

Pure Cashmere is available in all the colours in the Rustic Tranquility colourway:

I'm knitting an Aeolian Shawl with the colour Farmer's Wife. I have a plan to make one shawl a month this year.. Here is shawl number 1 in progress!

My very talented friend Tora made me the gorgeous yarn bowl for Christmas. It is hand thrown, hand shaped, finished and glazed. Look out for her wares at this year's Wonderwool Festival where her and I will be exhibiting!

Have a nice day and thanks for looking!

Aw shucks! I'm all embarrassed now.

I love seeing your yarn in it... just wait for your stacking bowls... my mind's a-buzzing with ideas about how to do it! Much more feasable than a yarn bowl you can sit in :)

I'm also loving seeing your beautiful colours of smooshily gorgeous yarn.
