I recieved a lovely blog award from Purpley a few days ago! The ! *heart* your blog award works like this: When awarded, you pick at least 7 other people to award. I do dislike horrible, disorganised, link exchanges, but the I *heart* your blog is more personal... I feel its a nice way for you to show appreciation for your fellow bloggers, a chance for others to know what blogs you enjoy, and to gain a little more recognition for your blog within your chosen 'genre'!

The 'Official Rules' are:
1. The winner can put the logo on their blog
2. Link the person you received your award from
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message on the blogs of the girls or boys you’ve nominated 

I picked a few knitting blogs I have 'stalked' over the past few weeks...I am quite biased towards knitting blogs at the moment! So, in no particular order:

1. Same Knit, Different Day - Mandies blog is about knitting, dyeing, and lots of lovely photos!
2. MonkeyFeet - Vikkie has just moved her blog, I LOVE her choice of colours and fabrics, can't wait to see what she's going to do with them!
3. Roo Knits -Inspirational lace knits from Ruth!
4. The Bear Necessities - Lucy knits, crochets, dyes, and gardens! Can you say Super mom?
5. Starrilicious - I go to Danielle's blog when I need a 'cute' fix...
6. Rebeca Arteira - Lovely blog, with FO's being posted almost every day! In portuguese, so prior knowledge of the language may be required, but if not... just look at the lovely photos and get inspired!
7. TurtleShell Stitches - Knitting, crochet... and most importantly.. Michelle's BEAUTIFUL models! 

I have also managed to get everything together for my swap buddy... I re-used some gorgeous pink tissue paper packaging from Socktopus:

I've been working on a new *free* pattern, I spent the past few weeks working out the kinks and the 'testing' phase is pretty much over... I'll be typing it up sometime soon; I tend to write things down and forget what I meant when I wrote it if I leave it too long! 

It's quite difficult not to guess what the pattern is...
