At the beginning of the year I was looking for a large-ish project to use up some Rowan 4ply wool I had originally bought to make a sweater vest, I got very bored halfway up the back and just decided that it wasn't worth my time and energy if I wasn't enjoying it. I was looking through my Google Reader list and came across Roo Knits' blog, where she has started knitting a Hemlock Ring Blanket. I fell in love with the pattern immediately...
The blanket is worked in the round, easy to remember and ever so pretty. Best of all, it's not boring as you shape it all the way to the end. I casted on about a week ago and I love how fast it grows.
I spent this week dyeing up some more skeins of yarn for the shop, replacing the skeins that sold out last week:
Farmer's Wife, Rice Paddy, and Horizon have been great sellers and I'm really excited about the feedback I have been getting from my customers.
Short post I know... but I have lots of work to do today!
Have a great day everyone!

That blanket is gorgeous, it looks hard though!
Oh it looks deceptively hard, but the pattern is so simple and easy to remember you will be surprised!
