I received the most amazing pair of socks today from Adrienne! Of course, that's not all she sent, but these are my very first pair of hand-knitted socks and I LOVE them! I never really understood sock knitting, I just thought 'they're just socks, how different can they be?'.... Boy was I wrong! These socks are beautifully knitted in forest-coloured variegated yarn, I even got the spare ball left over from my socks! I can't wait to try my hand at sock knitting. I believe I have been inspired...

At the moment I'm sitting at my desk, sipping some lovely Organic tea and eating delicious french shortbread that my generous buddy sent me; I spent the past 30 minutes taking photos of the goodies I got!

I do dislike horrible, disorganised, link exchanges, but the I *heart* your blog is more personal... I’ve had quite a rough few weeks; with it being relatively dry lately my allergies have been on full throttle! My eyes have been itchy, my nose stuffy... and my mood extremely appalling! It rained quite heavily last night... so I woke up with renewed energy having finally had a good nights sleep!

I haven’t been knitting much lately, I had a severe case of RSS in my left hand which rendered my fingers useless for a few weeks... however here are 2 pairs of booties that I managed to make before my hand got really bad...

I enjoy both knitting and crocheting; I learnt to crochet first so naturally I am more ‘apt’ at that, but my knitting is getting better! My Stash Buster Booties Challenge has made me a little more adventurous!
