I am a free spirited 20-something who enjoys the simpler things in life; Chopped Tomatoes started off as a personal blog where I shared recipes, patterns and eco-friendly living tips... At the moment my blogging has been centered around needlecrafts as I make the plunge into the knit/crochet design world!I have a long-haired Chihuahua called Buca and he is the centre of my universe (well.. when he's being good!)

More about my designs
I'm somewhat a 'lazy' crafter; I enjoy knitting an crochet yet I detest breaking threads, weaving in ends, and sewing up seams... You will find that most of my designs involve little or no seaming; one piece knits, items worked in the round... you get the idea!

Why Chopped Tomatoes?
My friends and family often contact me for recipes and dinner menu ideas; one day, my sister said, "Everything you cook has chopped tomatoes in it! You should just call yourself Chopped Tomatoes".. A lightbulb lit then... So I named my blog Chopped Tomatoes.
